How can Snow and Ice expertise create jobs and drive the local economy? 'Snow Expertise from Lapland as an Export Product, 2011–2013' was a project is aimed at combining design competence, Lapland's winter arts and events, and snow and ice construction technologies in order to develop an export product in cooperation with educational organisations and businesses.
The objective was to develop an internationally competitive service innovation product to leverage Lapland's versatile expertise of snow-related technologies and applications in different events and offerings of the tourism industry.Project Manager was Antti-Jussi Yliharju, University of Lapland, Faculty of Art and Design
