Lukas Arons, born in the Netherlands in 1968, is a professional sculptor who works mostly in granite in his studio "StoneZone" in Bohuslän, Sweden and in his studio at Sixthfloor in Koerich, Luxembourg. Besides commissions for monumental sculptures in the public domain, Arons works with smaller sculptures for the private sector. In wintertime he turns his attention to snow, ice and light as materials of expression.

How can Snow and Ice expertise create jobs and drive the local economy? 'Snow Expertise from Lapland as an Export Product, 2011–2013' was a project is aimed at combining design competence, Lapland's winter arts and events, and snow and ice construction technologies in order to develop an export product in cooperation with educational organisations and businesses.
The objective was to develop an internationally competitive service innovation product to leverage Lapland's versatile expertise of snow-related technologies and applications in different events and offerings of the tourism industry.
